If you are looking for a lean burger, then our cajun chicken burgers are the way to go. It’s smokey, zesty and has a little bit of a kick to it. Top your burger with smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and our homemade onion ring.

If you are looking for a lean burger, then our cajun chicken burgers are the way to go. It’s smokey, zesty and has a little bit of a kick to it. Top your burger with smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and our homemade onion ring.

What you get:

  • Four 8oz cajun chicken fillets
  • Four brioche burger buns

Cooking time: 15-20 minutes

Serves: Four people

Instructions for grilling:

  • Preheat your grill to high. Place the chicken burgers and smoked bacon flat on a grill tray and grill for about four minutes each side until cooked all the way through
  • Four minutes into cooking the chicken, place onion rings under grill for about two minutes each side until cooked
  • Toast the buns and have them ready
  • Pop your cheese on the chicken breast whilst they’re grilling if you prefer the cheese to be melted
  • To assemble, spread your sauce of choice on the base of your toasted bun then place the lettuce and tomato on top followed by the chicken (with cheese melted), smoked rasher, and onion ring and top with the bun lid

Instructions for frying:

  • Heat oil in a large frying pan, sizzle the chicken for five minutes each side until firm, push to one side of the pan, then fry the bacon for a two to three minutes or until cooked to your liking
  • Fry the onion ring on both side for two to three minutes until cooked
  • While the chicken is cooking, toast the buns. Cover the top of the bun with cheese, then grill until melted
  • To assemble, spread the sauce of your choice on the bun, top with a handful of lettuce, tomato, cajun chicken, smoked rasher, onion ring. Top with the melted cheese bun, press down lightly and serve
